Ms. Betty from Gentilly Heights/Vascoville now has a beautifully landscaped front yard thanks to a grant awarded by The Allstate Foundation and help from Parkway Partners!
Beacon of Hope was the recipient of a generous grant from The Allstate Foundation at the end of 2011 that provided funding for the improvement of 16 homes. Nearby neighbors noticed how the landscaping put the finishing touches to Ms. Betty’s home and they reached out for help from Beacon of Hope to beautify their properties. Beacon of Hope has scheduled 4 more projects on Wallace drive, that include landscaping and painting.
